Após a consulta do paciente, o médico preenche o formulário de requisição de teste
Análise genética

Enviar, por correio, a amostra biológica (um esfregaço bucal) e o formulário de requisição de teste assinado para os laboratórios HeartGenetics
Relatório de testes genéticos

Os resultados são entregues ao profissional de saúde que solicitou o teste, utilizando a plataforma de cliente da HeartGenetics baseada na web.

Legal requirements

According to the Portuguese Act 12/ 2005, only certified medical doctors can request genetic testing. If you are not yet registered at HeartGenetics, please contact us here.

The person that will perform the genetic test must sign an informed consent form.

Results are delivered in 10 days, with exception to HCMScreening and SportGene (both 30 days).

Sample conditions

Saliva: Isohelix Saliva Collectors Kit or Oragene DNA Collection kit, Genotek; DNA / RNA Shield ™ Collection Tube with Swab, Zymo

Blood: 2mL in K2EDTA or K3EDTA tubes

DNA: DNA minimum 30 µl with a [35-250] ng/µl

Shipping conditions

Send samples at room temperature in a padded envelope. Ship immediately so HeartGenetics can receive it within 72 hours after collection.
